Silva Bed will endeavour to deliver your order as efficiently and smoothly as possible. Our products are delivered using third party haulage companies direct from our warehouses.

It is important to let us know at ordering about any access issues, which require smaller lorries to be used. Equally, please specify if a tail lift is required to unload the pallet. Please ensure the correct delivery address has been provided and a contact number.

Lorry sizes will vary from 7.5 tonnes through to a full artic lorry of 26 tonnes.

Someone needs to be onsite to tell the lorry driver where to drop the pallet/s. Smaller lorries are generally fitted with tail lifts options and the pallet delivery will be taken off the lorry and dropped into position with a pallet mover. Pallets can only be moved on flat level surfaces, not gravel, soft or uneven ground.

Larger deliveries on 18t to artic lorries will need unloading with a forklift / telehandler as the delivery company will not be able to unload.

If the delivery driver does not know where to leave the pallet/s or cannot deliver the goods for some reason, there may be an extra redelivery delivery charge and we reserve the right to pass the costs on to the customer.
